We are very sorry to inform you that the Young Musicians' Showcase which was to have taken place on Saturday March 14th has had to be cancelled. For the first time in its history there were not enough applicants to make up a programme. This came as a great surprise as we normally have around 25 applications at least - one year there were 70!

However, we are inviting some of the more advanced entrants to play for us in a short concert before the Society's AGM on Thursday July 9th 7.30pm at the Methodist Church. We envisage the concert will last around 30 minutes followed by refreshments for everyone, with the evening concluding with a short AGM for members. Please put the date in your diaries - it will be a most enjoyable way to end our 84th season.
